2020–2025 Subaru Outback precut window tint kit

Our precut window tint kit for the 6th-generation Subaru Outback (2020–2025) fits Base, Premium, Onyx, Limited, Touring, and Wilderness trims. The wagon body has a long greenhouse with a distinctive rear cargo glass — included in the kit alongside front doors, rear doors, and rear quarter glass. EyeSight 4.0 cameras mount at the windshield, so side-window tint is fully compatible. Outback's outdoorsy buyer demographic tends to spend long days parked at trailheads — ceramic earns its keep.

Vehicle-specific install notes

The Outback's rear cargo glass extends nearly horizontal at the top — work bottom-up with the heat-shrink card. Wilderness trim's roof basket doesn't change the glass. Roof rails (standard on most trims) don't interfere with the install. Plan 2 hours.

Frequently asked: 2020–2025 Subaru Outback

Wilderness trim — same kit?

+

Yes. Wilderness adds higher ground clearance, all-terrain tires, and a roof basket, but the glass is identical to the rest of the lineup.

Does this affect EyeSight 4.0?

+

No. The EyeSight stereo cameras are mounted at the top center of the windshield, outside the tinted zone.

Will the rear cargo glass crack under heat-shrink?

+

No, if done correctly. Move the heat source steadily and don't park the heat gun on one spot. The film and glass are both rated for the heat we use in install — work in a relaxed pace.

What's the best VLT for an Outback?

+

20% rear / 35% front is the most common pick — gives the wagon body a sleek silhouette without going too dark for Pacific Northwest gloomy weather, which Outback owners disproportionately experience.
