How to return

  2. 02We email you a prepaid USPS or UPS return label within one business day
  3. 03Tape the label on the original (sealed) box and drop it at any USPS or UPS location
  4. 04We process the refund within one business day of receiving the return. Stripe credits your card 5–10 business days after that.

Why we don't accept opened kits

Once a precut kit is opened, the protective liner is exposed and the film accumulates dust and oils that make it unfit for resale. We can't put a used-once kit back on the shelf, and charging you a "restocking fee" to refund part of it would be dishonest. So our policy is the clean version: unopened gets a full refund, opened doesn't.

The two exceptions: if the film is defective, that's a warranty claim and we replace it free without requiring you to return anything. If the kit was damaged in transit, we ship a replacement same-day without requiring a return.

What's your return policy?

30 days from delivery for unopened kits. Full refund to the original payment method. Free return shipping (we'll send a prepaid label). If you opened the kit but haven't installed it, contact us anyway — we work most things out.

Why no returns on opened kits?

Once a precut kit is opened, the protective liner is exposed and the film accumulates dust and oils that make it unfit for resale. We can't put a used-once kit back on the shelf, and we'd rather be honest about that than charge a restocking fee. If the kit is defective or damaged in transit, that's a warranty claim — we ship a replacement free, no return required.

What if I bought the wrong vehicle kit?

If the box is still sealed, just send it back within 30 days and we'll refund + ship the correct kit. If you opened it before realizing — email us. We've often shipped the right kit at our cost as a one-time courtesy for first-time customers.

How long does my refund take?

We refund within 1 business day of receiving the returned kit at our Texas warehouse. Stripe processes the refund to your original card within 5–10 business days after that. So total: 1–2 weeks end to end.

Do you charge restocking fees?

No. Some tint sellers charge 15–25% restocking. We don't. A full refund means the full amount you paid back to your card.

How do I start a return?

Email hello@precutwindowtintkits.com with your order number and "Return" in the subject. We'll email a prepaid return shipping label within one business day. Drop the unopened box at any USPS or UPS location — no extra cost to you.

What if the kit was damaged in shipping?

Don't return it. Email a photo of the damaged box and we'll ship a replacement same-day at our cost. Keep the damaged kit for parts or recycle it.
