The 3rd-gen Equinox is one of the best-selling compact crossovers in the U.S. and a fleet favorite — relatively flat glass throughout makes it one of the most beginner-friendly installs. (Note: a redesigned 2025+ Equinox launches as a separate generation.)
Vehicle-specific install notes
Flat front-door glass and forgiving rear quarter shape. The optional panoramic sunroof on Premier doesn't affect side-window install. Roof rails (LT and up) don't interfere. Plan 90 minutes.

Yes. All 3rd-gen trims share the same glass dimensions.
Does this fit the Equinox EV?

No. Equinox EV is a different platform on Ultium — different glass. Email us for that kit.
Will heat-shrink crack the rear glass?

No, not when done at proper distance and pace. The film is thin and heats fast; the glass is tempered and rated well above your heat gun's output. Steady passes are key.
What about the GMC Terrain — does this fit?

No, similar but not identical. Terrain has its own pattern; email us for it.
